First, I must start with our name. Bella Del Gatto means “Beautiful Cat” in Italian. Bella was the name of my Mom’s fat, angry cat that she loved dearly {pictured to the bottom right}. Bella was with my Mom at the foot of her favorite recliner chair until her last day on this earth and then Bella passed shortly after my Mom.

We are Italian so naturally the Italian name seemed fitting. All of our cats are named in memory of our heritage and in memory of my Mom {pictured with me to the right}. I’ve worn many different hats throughout the years as a nurse of 25 years, a business owner and a Mama to three grown children. One thing is for sure; I have always been a nurturer at heart. When my last son moved into his own place, I experienced the dreaded “empty nest syndrome” to the highest degree. I realized that raising my children was my purpose and I needed to find a new passion to find something that truly brings me the same joy as raising my babies for most of my adult life.

I truly cherish and enjoy caring for our beautiful cats; watching them play, learn, and grow together.

I am passionate about keeping our cats and kittens healthy and happy - making sure to spend (a little too much) time brushing them and watching them play. We take extreme precaution and hold ourselves to the highest standards of cleanliness, making sure to disinfect and care for our cats and their areas to keep a 100% disease-free cattery. Home visits are always welcome but expect to be asked to wear shoe covers to keep our kittens free from outside dirt and diseases. ❤
